About Lila Rozario
Hi, my name is Lila Rozario, I have experience teaching in a classroom setting and online. I have been teaching English for over ten years and teaching English online for the last six years. Furthermore, I have experience teaching Business English, Daily English, Pre-starters Cambridge English, Oxford University Press, and Teenagers English. Importantly, I have prepared people for their speaking, listening, reading, and writing exams based on Cambridge ESOL, Trinity ESOL, TOEFL, and IELTS examinations from pre-entry to advanced levels.
With regard to my online teaching, I teach people from all over the world, such as people based in countries in Asia and Europe. When teaching young children, I teach one-to-one as well as in group sessions. Furthermore, I use teaching techniques such as TRP, and teaching aids, such as flashcards, puppets, props, and a small whiteboard. With regard to teaching adults and teenagers, I do teach one-to-one and in groups. Importantly, I use a mixture of different teaching and learning strategies, such as discussions, role-play activities, gap-filling activities, unscrambling words, or sentence structure activities. Therefore, all learners I teach are involved in the learning process in the online lesson.
I have a BA in Geography and Development Studies. A Master’s in Environment and Development Studies and a PGCE in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other languages). Importantly I have written lesson plans for online teaching companies that I have worked for. I use various teaching platforms and therefore, I am a confident user in using different ICT systems and programs. I am a British person, and I was born and raised in London, England, which is my place of residence as well.
