Course Description
Do you want an overall score of 100+ on the TOEFL iBT? Are you ready to successfully prepare for the Revised TOEFLÂ iBT Exam?
We have the TOEFL iBT course for you!
This is a COMPLETE Course with 2,000 5-Star (*****) Reviews and 2021 course updates!. We do not teach a surface-level course that tells you the basics of the exam. To truly break down and simplify the questions for you so that the test becomes easy requires the depth of explanation we give. I teach you as if you were taking a full in-person course that would require extensive training. Based on our style, our students often increase their scores by 10 – 20 points. We do more than tell you what to do; we SHOW you how to do it. If that is what you have been looking for, this course is the right one for you.
I have been a dedicated TOEFL iBT Instructor for more than 15 years. Learning the TOEFL iBT is a challenge because it is not simply about knowing English but actually requires test strategy and tactics that have proven results. In addition, the TOEFL iBT is an online exam, so your taking this course will allow you to study in the format that is best for the exam.
Note: Speaking Test Possibility (Limited Space – Conditions Apply): (1) 20 Spaces available each month, and (2) Student must have proof of completing the entire course to be eligible. The speaking test space is limited, so this is not a guaranteed benefit.
NEW UPDATE: Every section of our course has been updated. We have revised our course to reflect the latest question formats and strategies necessary to succeed at those questions.

Look at the question and identify the Question Type. Being able to identify the question type, recalling the appropriate strategy, and then accurately applying that strategy is the key to scoring well.
In this lecture, we breakdown the different Trap answers that you need to watch out for. In the specific strategy lectures for each question, we point out for you when these traps make an appearance.
We have now updated our strategy for the Detail Question, so that it reflects some of the news ways the TOEFL test designers are trying to word and challenge you. Please watch these videos and learn exactly how to do this question type.
NOTE:
For the first question that I analyze in this strategy application, a student could have read that next sentence because of the word "But." A sentence that starts with the word "But" is connected to the previous sentence. However, the keyword sentence had ALL of the keyword language and most importantly, it has the language "quickest where" that directly connects to the answer. A person would be perfectly fine in reading that next sentence. I probably should have explained in the lecture that although it would be appropriate to read it, it actually is not helpful because we have the language that points directly to the answer. I actually did this mentally, and forgot to take it from my head to the screen. One last point: when the next sentence starts with the word "But" yes it is connected; however, the word "But" indicates conflict with the keyword sentence and will likely not provide helpful information. This is why I don't really consider it on the same level of "this that these those" for pointing to the answer in the following sentence.

Practice Answering Detail Questions
Practice answering the inference questions.
Practice the except questions. NOTE WHEN YOU ARE DOING THE QUIZ PUT YOUR TIMER ON 5 MINUTES. ON AN EXCEPT QUESTION, YOU CANNOT TAKE NO LONGER THAN 1.45 MINUTES TO FINISH A QUESTION. Yes, I am taking into account the August 2019 changes to the amount of questions.
If you want to simulate test pressure, put a timer in effect. Very often students question why they perform well in practice and badly on the exam. The reason why is because they do not simulate test pressure.
SET A CLOCK!!
The Purpose question is tricky. Watch how we break it down and simplify it for you.

Hi
Follow the link below for more explanation on the general concept of what it means to discover vocabulary by context. I think that this lecture adds even more explanation to the concept explained in the previous lecture.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiNggzdWkIo
Once you understand the basic idea of what it means to find meaning through context, you can answer this question easier.
Watch this videos and learn the new ways they are presenting the Reference, Vocabulary, and take a look at the rare but more recently asked "How is the Passage Organized?" Question
This resource will show you what we mean by "the questions go in the order of the passage." Every Reading passage works the same way. You will not find information for question 2 in paragraph 6.
Instructions:
1. GO through the passage and just mark the Paragraph Location of EACH QUESTION. Note: All Except questions cover an entire paragraph.
2. Practice Answering the Questions using the strategies noted in the video lectures. The answers are provided on the last pages.
See how accurately you can answer the questions within the time limits.
Instructions
1. Set your timer for 36 Minutes
2. DO NOT GO OVER 36 MINUTES
3. If you go over the given time limit you are not practicing according to the restrictions of the exam and your evaluation is actually false.
4. Your goal should be to get 85% correct.
Here is your opportunity to apply the question strategy.
Set a 7-minute timer and begin. This will simulate the exam.
Set a 15-minute timer and begin. This will simulate the actual exam clock pressure and requirements.
Set a 7-minute timer and begin. You must answer the questions in 7 minutes to simulate the exam
Practice the strategies we have taught in this course. Set a 10-minute timer and begin
Practice applying the strategies
(Set 12-minute timer) Simulate the actual exam.
These are 3 Reading Practice passages with the new format of only 10 questions. Work on applying the skills that we teach in this course. Set a Timer for 54 Minutes!!!!! This is a free practice set provided by ETS on their website. Your goal should be 85% correct if your interest is scoring above a 25 on the real exam.
